GENERAL VESSEL DESCRIPTION and LAYOUT:
The F/V is a molded hull constructed of fiberglass built by Buffalo Boats Inc in 1989and refurbished by the present owner in 2010. The vessel had twin gas engines w/ 8 ½” water jets; the hull has a raked stem with a slight vee, hard chine planning bottom with flat stern with water jet extension. Main cabin / helm is aft, fish hold amidships w/ self-bailing open work deck forward.
This is a typical jet bow picker used for salmon gillnetting at the bow first mounted to the bulwarks is a 24” hydraulic power roller w/ aluminum fairleads and net washing system, powered by a 2” Pacer hydraulic seawater pump mounted in bow compartment. Next running aft are seven 10” mooring cleats three each, port and starboard and one amidships aft. Next aft port is a hydraulic helm, engine controls, hydraulic controls ad wash down control w/ plastic access hatches. Amidships on the forward self-bailing work deck is a round aluminum watertight Freeman Marine flush deck hatch accessing the anchor gear, forward DC 12-volt bilge pump and the Pacer hydraulic net/ wash down pump. The self-bailing work deck has 30” bulwarks w/ two 4" scuppers port and starboard aft. Mounted centerline is a aluminum and fiberglass hydraulic driven salmon reel w/ hydraulic driven level wind against the forward fish hold bulkhead. Going aft is the fish hold w/ three fiberglass hatch covers. The fish hold capacity is approximately 8,000 lbs of salmon, insulated w/ foam w/ fiberglass over coating and gel coat. The fish hold is binned into three compartments fore aft, rigged for brailers and has DC 12-volt bilge pump in a sump covered w/ a grated aluminum cover.
The cabin is entered amidships by an aluminum door that opens outward to the starboard. To the starboard of entry is the cabin helm w/ bench seat, hydraulic steering, engine controls and a compass. Next aft is the galley counter w/ single stainless sink recessed into the counter w/ drawers and storage underneath. Next aft recessed into the counter is a Magic Chef four burner LPG/ propane cook stove w/ oven; fuel supplied from steel supplied from steel bottle mounted centerline cabin lid. Across the back of the cabin is a double bunk w/ single bunk above w/ cushions. Hatch under the lower bunk access the engine room w/ hydraulics, DC 12-volt ventilation blower and bilge pumps. Hatch in cabin sole forward of the engine room and accesses fuel tanks, water tank, fuel filters and DC 12-volt bilge pump. To the port of entry is a galley table w/ fore and aft seating and storage under the bench seats; house DC battery w/ DC 12-volt cabin heater mounted under aft bench seat. Next aft is the enclosed head w/ manual pump marine toilet w/ 6-gallon plastic holding tank mounted under the cabin sole port side. The vessel interior is finished in carpeting, wood cabinets w/ Formica, vinyl sole, w/ bolted Lexan front windows and aluminum-framed side windows that slid port and starboard sides. The cabin lid has a engine access hatch for engine removal. There are aluminum pipe mast for radar dome and lights with antennas mounted to the cabin lid.
New 2018; Bostrum Wide Ride w/ air ride suspension, Magic Chef four burner LPG/ propane cook stove w/ oven; fuel supplied from steel supplied from steel bottle mounted centerline cabin lid, Planner diesel DC 12-volt forced air cabin heater mounted under port aft galley bench seat, Red Dot engine coolant hydronic DC 12-volt forced air cabin heater plumbed off of port main engine, stainless steel galley sink, manual Jabsco marine toilet, DC 12-volt cabin lighting.
