GENERAL AND ARRANGEMENT:
This is a fiberglass hull constructed of apparent good and adequate scantlings by Raider Marine at Ninilchick, Alaska in 1979. The vessel has one deck, one mast, curved stem, slightly rounded chine with rolling chocks, transom stern, cabin forward, fish hold midships, open work deck aft.
The recessed aft deck is surrounded by 34” bulwarks fit with 24” aluminum pipe life rails to port and starboard and contains midships aft a Freeman flush deck aluminum hatch to the lazaret, next forward a 16” step up to the eight (8) individual fish holds fit with fiberglassed plywood covers and a hydraulic- driven aluminum net reel with levelwind on fore/aft slide rail system to midships. The stern is fit with a hydraulic-driven net roller with live fairleads.
The foredeck is accessed by walkways port and starboard of the cabin and contains the anchor, rode, and hydraulic anchor winch.
The flying bridge is accessed by an inclined ladder from port aft and contains an aluminum pipe framework fit with helm and engine controls, stowage locker and helm seat.
The cabin is entered by sliding fiberglass door from starboard aft and contains from starboard aft a Dickinson Newport oil-fired cabin heater, next forward the galley area with countertop and cupboard spaces, single basin stainless steel sink, Krupps coffee maker and Wedgewood propane-fired three burner range/oven, from port aft the galley messing table with fore/aft seating, next forward the helm, seat (with Whynter refrigerator/freezer beneath), full engine controls, gauges, instruments and various electronics.
The forepeak is accessed by open companionway midships forward in the main cabin and contains an enclosed head with Natures Head composting toilet and three single berths.
The vessel interior is finished with a vinyl sole, painted fiberglass overhead, wood paneled bulkheads and aluminum framed windows.
