VESSEL DESCRIPTION
The fishing vessel is an Alaskan fiberglass bow picker with house aft, raised fish hold midship and a self-bailing work deck forward. The work deck has a Petrzelka Bros. hydraulic power roller at the bow, a fiberglass steering console with hydraulic valves aft to port, a gillnet reel aft off center to starboard, and an anchor locker to starboard of reel. Aft of the work deck is a raised fish hold. Aft of the fish hold is the cabin.
Under the deck, the vessel is separated by three fiberglass bulkheads. The two make up the bow compartment that houses a 50-gal fuel tank that is currently not used, 2” Pacer washdown pump and its seacock; accessed by Baier round deck hatch and drained by Rule Mate 1500. Aft of the second bulkhead is the fish hold – separated into three holds with two longitudinal fiberglass bulkheads, covered by two fiberglass hatch covers and drained by aft center sump with valves. Aft of the third bulkhead is the engine room. The engine room houses the fuel tank most forward, twin diesel inboard engines, two Hamilton 273 waterjets, and batteries.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Access to the cabin is through a watertight, aluminum entry door. Cabin is finished in gelcoat over fiberglass, FRP overhead, and plywood cabinetry and sole. To port is the helm station with vessel controls, electronics, and Captains seat. Aft of that is cabinetry with storage for tools and electronics overhead. Aft, athwartship, are two stacked bunks and storage shelves on top. Forward the bunks on starboard is the galley with cabinetry, Dickinson propane cabin heater, and recessed sink. Most forward is dinette with fixed wood counter and forward-facing fiberglass bench seat.
