VESSEL DESCRIPTION
The fishing vessel is an older, yet quite typical Alaskan bowpicker with house aft, fishhold midship and a self-bailing work deck forward. At the bow is a hydraulic powered aluminum bow roller. Headed aft on the work deck is a steering console with hydraulic valves to port and a hydraulic gillnet reel aft, slightly to starboard. The auxiliary engine is positioned to aft and starboard of the gillnet reel and below that is the Pacer wash down pump. Aft of work deck is a raised, insulated fish hold that is designed for three brailer bags. Aft of fish hold is the cabin.
Under deck, the vessel is separated by three watertight bulkheads and four partial bulkheads. The most forward watertight bulkhead creates an empty void at bow. Forward the second bulkhead is accessed by an aluminum Freeman hatch in the work deck and drained by an automatic Rule bilge pump. ** Forward the third watertight bulkhead is the fish hold; accessed by two fiberglass hatches and drained by center sump. Aft of third bulkhead is the engine room. Engine room houses the main engine, waterjet, batteries, and drained by bilge pump. Access to the engine room is through cabin sole and bunk. ** Freeman hatch on work deck and fish hold were covered in snow and frozen so inspection of these areas was not possible at time of survey.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Access to the aft cabin is through a watertight aluminum door. Cabin is finished in carpet overhead, carpet sides, vinyl lined wood cabinetry, and carpeted sole. To forward port is helm station with controls, electronics, and 12-volt breaker switches. Aft of helm station and Captain’s seat is a marine toilet that was marked “Not in Order” at time of survey. Aft, athwartship along cabin stern, is two bunk style berths. Forward the bunks on starboard side is countertop with propane stove and oven, sink, and countertop with drawers and cabinet. Forward that is a wood counter style settee with wood bench facing forward.
Price: $55,000
