VESSEL DESCRIPTION
The F/V is an all-molded fiberglass, single diesel powered, tunnel, classic Chignik style seiner, that can be rigged for multi-species fisheries and is currently rigged for seining. She is an uninspected vessel, house forward with a flybridge, shallow draft with tunnel, raked stem, flared bow, soft, round chine, slight constant deadrise, straight sides and a plumb transom. The vessel has a molded and insulated deck house with teak framed glass windows and is entered on the aft stbd bulkhead. The entire standing rigging is aluminum which is standard for vessels of this type. The engine is located under the cabin/work deck and is forward of amidships. The fuel tanks and water tank are in the lazarette with good access from the work deck. Two individual fish holds with an approximate 30,000 lb. capacity are tankable to the outer skin. The galley and a lower helm station are in the cabin, along with a captain’s bunk, and V-bunks are located in the forecastle. The ground tackle is on the foredeck which is accessed port and starboard alongside the cabin. The upper deck is entered by an aluminum ladder and has safety rails port and starboard. The cabin is entered from the main deck via a door on the aft starboard side and down three steps with the enclosed head to stbd and a day bunk and main helm forward. The galley is to port with the drop-down table for extra berthing just ahead. A break timber is even with the aft bulkhead of the cabin and is the main structural member.

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND VALUATIONS
One factor in the establishment of value of this vessel is that the F/V is well established in Alaska and has a sterling record of performance and maintenance. This fact coupled with excellent history and location, further separates her from the norm. Secondly, the cost approach is very relevant here, when considering replacement and her ability to provide a proven income history. It is difficult to find recent and comparable sales of a vessel with these characteristics and an established presence in the area of it’s operation. Further relevance to this is that it is the undersigned’s belief that there are few comparable vessels currently for sale.
