TYPE: Planing, Slight-Vee, hard chine’s, and flared bow.
MATERIAL: FRP(fiber reinforced plastic) exterior laminate with a wood material.
EXTERIOR HULL: Cream White Gelcoat with dark blue trim. Examined exterior hull and found it to be in good overall condition. Exterior hull has several small superficial cracks and chips in gel coating.
BULKHEADS: The vessel has two (2) Athwartships bulkheads (main cabin forward watertight and forward machinery space up to 3’ above main deck) which are reinforced with wood and bonded to the hull with FRP (fiber reinforced plastic). These were examined where accessible and found to be in good condition.
STRINGERS: Hull stiffness provided by two (2) 5” x 8” FRP longitudinal stringers. Complete inspection was not possible due to limited access. These were examined where accessible and found to be in good condition.
STEM: Examination of stem area was conducted and found to be in good condition
TRANSOM: Transom was examined where accessible and found in good condition, A few small gel coat chips were
observed. These observations are cosmetic and were not deemed to affect the structural integrity or safety of vessel.
BILGE: A clean white FRP surface was observed in the machinery space bilge area, the condition was found to be very
clean and in good condition. Other bilge area’s of vessel were clean.
MOISTURE CONTENT: Vessel was probed and visually examined for indications of moisture content in areas that were accessible
and found to be in good condition.
TYPE: Molded FRP and encapsulated wood sandwich with white Gelcoat and non-skid surface. This area was examined and minor cosmetic Gelcoat chips were found but overall the deck is considered to be in good condition.
MATERIAL: Cored FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) with encapsulated wood and white Gelcoat, moulded non-skid surface.
TYPE: Hull has inward turning flange for the deck joint. The deck is thru-bolted approximately every 4'' with stainless steel 1/4'' fasteners. It is reportedly bedded in 5200 elastomers compound as well. This was examined and found to be good condition.
FASTENERS: The fasteners were not accessible of visible for close examination, however the hull to deck joint was examined and found as previously reported.
VENTILATION: Provided by sliding windows for cabin and goose neck vents for machinery space. All appear serviceable and in good condition.
SCUPPERS: Deck drains thru 2" scuppers at base of bulwarks of vessel, all were found in good condition.
CHOCKS AND CLEATS: All chocks and cleats were examined and found in good condition.
WINDLASS/GIPSY: Vessel is fitted with a commercial grade hydraulic line hauler and aluminum bow roller. These can be used for anchoring.
DECKBOX: Molded FRP storage locker located on foredeck. This was examined and found in good condition.
DECK SURFACE: The general condition of the molded non skid deck surface was found to be in good overall condition.
HATCHES: The vessels deck hatches were examined and found to be in good condition.
GRAB RAIL: Anodized aluminum hand rails along sides of super structure on vessel. These were examined and found in good condition.
MATERIAL: Cabin house and deck are one unit molded FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) and cored with wood. This was examined during the course of this survey and found to be in good condition.
WINDOWS/PORTS/DOORS: Large opening windows on the sides of cabin, large forward windshield and a single large non opening window on aft bulkhead, Entrance to the cabin is through a watertight door on centerline forward cabin bulkhead. These were examined and found in good condition.
JOINERY STRESS: Vessel was examined throughout where accessible and found to be in good overall condition. There were no signs of cracks, water intrusion, rot or poor maintenance.
SUPERSTRUCTURE HOUSE TO DECK JOINT: Deck house and deck joint were examined and found in good condition.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES:
GENERAL EQUIPMENT: The interior of the living quarters was examined and found in good condition. The interior paneling and furnishings were found to be in very good condition.
JOINERY AND FINISH: The joinery and finish of the interior is constructed of teak and plastic laminate. This was examined and found in good condition.
CABIN BRIGHT WORK: Satin varnish finish on all teak doors and trim.
WATER INTRUSION SIGNS: None sighted.
HEADLINERS: Headliner material in the cabins appeared to be a light colored vinyl coated paneling, this was examined and found to be in good condition.
FABRIC AND CUSHIONS: Upholstered fabrics for cushions. examined and found in good condition.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Vessel is fitted with one berth which is located at aft of cabin over access to machinery space.
* HEADS: [C1] Vessel is fitted with a toilet and there is no MSD.
SHOWERS: None sighted
FAUCET FIXTURES: The faucet fixtures and sinks were examined and found in good condition.
LIGHT FIXTURES: All interior light fixtures were examined and found in very good condition.
SALON FURNISHINGS: Cabin furnishings were examined and found to be in very good condition.
CABIN HEATING: Vessel is fitted with a Dickinson oil fired heating system/oven/stove. This was not operated or tested, but appeared to be in serviceable condition.
TELEVISIONS: None sighted.
STEREO, ETC.: AM/FM/Cassette with speakers, appears to be in good condition.
SINKS: A single stainless steel rectangle shaped sink in the galley. Condition good. Faucet for cold water.
REFRIGERATION: None Sighted
STOVE/OVEN: Vessel is fitted with Dickinson "Atlantic" oil fired oven/range/space heater which is located in the galley. This unit was examined and found to be in good condition.
HEAT PROTECTION (INSULATION): Oven/range exhaust and heat protection was examined and found in good condition.
MICROWAVE: None sighted.
TYPE: Two (2) Mercruiser 260 HP 5.0 Liter V-8 gasoline naturally aspirated engines. Note: The engines and outdrives are new as part of an extensive restoration project.
LABELS AND NOTICES: The engines were new and all required labels appeared to be in place and readable.
HORSE POWER: 260 horsepower each engine
NUMBER OF CYLINDERS: Eight (8) in a V configuration.
INDICATED HOURS: The engines and outdrives are new and installed May 2011.
ENGINE MOUNTS AND BED: Main engine beds are heavy wood longitudinal stringers inboard and outboard. In conjunction, adjustable motor mounts are bolted to the stringers and are used to adjust the shaft alignment.
DRIP PANS: Engine room bilge was recently cleaned, primed and new gel coat applied.
LUBRICATION: Engines are new and oil level is normal
VENTILATION: Power blowers port side with flexible pick-up tubing . Natural, flow ventilation provided by hull vents. Appears adequate.
EXHAUST SYSTEM: Main engine exhaust system was examined and found to be in good condition.
ENGINE ALARMS: Low oil pressure alarm and coolant over heat warning both visual and audible at helm station. Appear serviceable.
ENGINE SYNCHRONIZER: None sighted.
TYPE: Closed reservoir type cooling with raw water cooled exhaust.
COOLANT LEVEL: Normal.
HOSES AND CLAMPS: Double clamped where sighted. Appear serviceable.
BELTS AND PULLEYS: Belts condition appear serviceable.
FUEL TYPE: Diesel.
MATERIAL: Reportedly Aluminum.
NUMBER OF TANKS: One
TANKS CAPACITY: Reportedly 225 gallons.
SECURED: Yes, Metal straps with chafe protection. Appears serviceable.
LOCATION: Fuel tank is forward of engine room bulkhead below the main cabin sole. This was examined and found to be in very good condition.
FILL PIPE LOCATIONS: Port side decks marked for fuel.
FILL PIPE GROUNDED: Not sighted due to access.
FILL PIPE MATERIAL: Not sighted due to access.
FILL PIPE FITTINGS: Not sighted due to access.
HOSE CONNECTIONS, CLAMPS: Appear serviceable and approved where sighted.
FUEL LINES AND FITTINGS: Grade USCG type A1. Appears serviceable where sighted.
VENT LOCATION: Port and starboard topside's, flame screens were sighted.
SHUT-OFF VALVE: Yes. Ball valves at tanks and the central manifold system.
FUEL FILTERS: Yes, engine mounted spin on/off type. New
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (D.C. SYSTEM):
VOLTAGE: Lead acid battery powered 12 volt system.
BATTERIES: Two batteries located under cabin deck in bilge area, Appeared serviceable.
MAIN BATTERY SWITCHES: Main engine battery selector switches were examined and found in good serviceable condition.
PANEL: The main electrical panel was mounted at helm station. This was examined and found in good condition.
TYPE CONNECTORS: None sighted.
ROUTING/SUPPORT: Well supported and secured where sighted.
CHARGING SYSTEM: Alternators on main engines. Appears serviceable.
OUTLETS: None sighted
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (A.C. SYSTEM)
SHORE POWER INLET: None sighted.
SANITATION (BLACK WATER):
MANUFACTURER: Vessel is fitted with an installed toilet which discharges directly overboard and does not have a USCG Approved MSD
NUMBER OF HEADS: One toilet located in main cabin under starboard seat.
TYPE: Hydraulic, by Hynautic, where sighted appeared serviceable.
NUMBER OF STATIONS: Two (2) forward deck helm station and main helm station.
LINES AND FITTINGS: Reinforced flexible hose, with metallic fittings. Appears serviceable.
ACTUATOR CYLINDER: Appears serviceable.
MOUNTING: Cylinder and ram actuator are well secured.
ANCHORS: Yes, Danforth style Approx 25 lbs. Note: I recommend for emergency use that at least two anchors in this range with about 150' of 5/8'' rode be kept onboard and rigged and ready for use.

NAVIGATION LIGHTS: Running lights and anchor lights are operable.
"NO OIL DISCHARGE" PLAQUE: Yes, found properly displayed in engine space.
AUXILIARY SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
E.P.I.R.B.: None sighted. But highly recommended.

FIXED FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM (HALON TYPE): Vessel is not fitted with a fixed fire extinguishing system, highly recommended.

LIST: All bilge pumps were examined and found in good serviceable condition.
