GENERAL AND ARRANGEMENT:
This is a welded aluminum hull constructed of apparent good and adequate scantlings by Bayweld Boats at Homer, Alaska in 2012.
The vessel has one deck, navigation mast, curved stem, transom stem, hard chined planing hull, open deck forward, net reel and fish holds midships, cabin aft. Typical bowpicker design.
The self-bailing foredeck is surrounded by 28″ bulwarks topped with 4″ high aluminum pipe life rails fit with boarding gate with hinged aluminum door port aft and contains a bow mounted Reynolds Marine power roller, next aft a Freeman flush deck hatch to the forward compartment, midships aft two 22″ X 45″ flush deck individual fish holds each with single section aluminum covers, a 32″ X 52″ hydraulic driven net reel on fore/aft aluminum slide rails, to port forward a helm with full engine controls, retractable seat and deck machinery hydraulic station, a 3 1/4″ aluminum socket for an aluminum stiff arm davit, next aft a hinged aluminum boarding door. To starboard forward an anchor locker. Port and starboard of the net reel are two 60″ X 33″ and two 44″ X 34″ flush deck hatches to double lined individual fish holds with single section aluminum covers, to midships aft a 48″ X 52″ hatch with two section aluminum covers. The starboard forward cabin bulkhead is fit with a storage locker with hinged aluminum door. The stem is fit with a full width 2 1/4″ aluminum pipe jet drive guard extending outboard 30″.
The cabin is entered by hinged watertight aluminum door from midships forward and contains from starboard forward the combination berth/galley messing table (collapsible to berth) with fore/aft cushioned seating, next aft an enclosed head with Jabsco electric marine toilet and shower wand, from port forward the main operating station with Soft Ride seat, full engine controls, instruments, gauges and various electronics, next aft the galley area with countertop and cupboard spaces, single basin stainless steel sink, Norcold under-counter refrigerator, Wallas oil fired two burner range and Sharp Carousel microwave oven, midships aft a double berth with single berth above. Hatches in cabin sole provide access to the engine room and machinery spaces.
Vessel interior is finished with a painted non-skid aluminum sole, FRB paneled overhead with oak trim, carpeted bulkheads with Diamond Sea Glaze aluminum framed windows and cabin entry door.
