VESSEL DESCRIPTION:
This vessel is a twin propulsion oil screw all aluminum bow picker gillnetter. It is typical of this type of vessel with the house aft, flush work deck, bull and lash rails adequate for working safety. The single hard chine hull form is primarily designed for speed with the capability to have a level attitude in fully product loaded conditions. It has a raked stem, soft forefoot, fore and aft sheer in the forward section with no flare. The side shell is laid out slightly, with the original transom almost plum. The propulsion and auxiliary engines are below the aft superstructure, as are the fuel and hydraulic tanks with the domestic water tank in the forepeak. The entire vessel can be accessed from the deck level as adequate passage is port and starboard of the cabin. The individual cargo holds all have double bottoms with a pump drain system that allows all fluids to be pumped from a single suction station. All holds can be secured in a watertight configuration. It is reported that when the vessel is fully loaded the trim attitude is level and still has several inches of freeboard.

Comments:
This vessel has been sponsoned for additional floatation, stability and sea keeping ability in loaded conditions from the waterline to chine from approximately 22’from the forefoot aft to the end of the transom extension. These void area scan be checked for water migration with a drain system. The 31” transom extension runs from the bottom plates full width to half-way up the transom and is not a void, but part of the engine compartment. It has a hinged watertight 24” x 24” Baier hatch to starboard for engine compartment access.

DECK DESCRIPTION:
The foredeck has an aft break-timber of 5” and is a watertight storage void. There maining work deck is flush with a recessed area centered the two center holds with the herring shaker centered above. Forward of the center holds are four holds and aft are two holds, with the reel atop these. All eight holds can be easily loaded individually by a hatch system that raises to allow for gravity loading. This is a unique, efficient and well designed and fabricated system. The deck helm station is fitted with electric solenoid switches that can individually activate all deck equipment and deck pump. All fish handling equipment is synchronized to operate together at the optimum efficiency.

DECK EQUIPMENT CONTROL SWITCHES:
CABIN DESCRIPTION
The area is entered via a non-watertight sliding door fitted to the starboard side down two steps. A single upper bunk is above a double bunk athwart ship aft to port (w/ bunk lights) with a galley table to starboard. The main helm station is to port with a bench seat aft. Ventilation and heat are provided from a thematically controlled Heater Craft electric forced air system. Electronics are mounted on the compass shelf and overhead to port with stove, countertop and sink to starboard. The layout provides excellent 360-degree visibility. Drawers are below the compass shelf, bunks and galley table.

The compartment is entered via the galley sole by lifting four separate sections and transom extension. The fuel tank is centered forward with primary fuel filters mounted to it making easy access. The auxiliary and it’s starting battery are forward to starboard with the individual main engine batteries centered between the main engines. The compartment is well laid out giving access to all areas with thought to placement of the centered engine cooling system screens.
