General Vessel Description:
This welded aluminum vessel is of typical gillnet bowpicker design with the working deck forward, fish holds amidship and enclosed cabin aft. The foredeck has the bow roller and a three- inch Aluminum to PVC washdown piping illuminated with a gunwale light. There is a steering console on the port side. The steering console houses the propane tank for the cook stove and the smaller of the two fire extinguishers. There is an access hatch just aft the steering console to reach the forward bilge pump and washdown pump access. Adjacent is the anchor locker which is just forward of the net roller. There are ample storage areas along the gunwales. The deck is self-bailing with large deck grates amidship for ease of drainage. This vessel has seven spray foam insulated fish holds each with flush 34”x37” deck hatches three of which are bilged off one bilge pump and four off the other.
The exterior of the vessels house can be accessed by a grab rail on the roof and non-skid along the rail ledge. The aft of the vessel has wide transom with a secondary diamond plate platform a bit lower in between the jet units for ease of access. There is a 2” aluminum pipe rail around both jet units. The top of the cabin has three solar panels, the large 51”x34” access hatch and 1 1/8” aluminum pipe navigation mast. There is a small kayak mounted on the starboard side.
The cabin is accessed through a centerline watertight aluminum door. Port of the door, there is an exterior panel where the diesel fill for the cabin heater and the extra antifreeze for the port main is housed. Entering the cabin, the helm station is on the port side. There is a Mariner air ride seat at the helm with full helm controls. Adjacent, on the starboard side is a mess table with opposing bench seats. Behind the helm seat is an built-in toolbox cubby and on the port side wall is the heater unit and galley sink. The port aft quarter houses the three-burner propane cook stove/oven. On the aft wall to Starboard quarter are two bunk beds. There are access hatches beneath the lower berth to the engine room as well in the roof for easy engine access and removal/replacement. Industrial carpet coats the interior flooring spaces and bulkheads and FPR panels are overhead.
The primary access to the engine room is centerline forward in the cabin just aft the watertight door. The engine space is well lit and clean.
