DESCRIPTION:
The fishing vessel, is a Bowpicker of molded FRP construction. Her planing hull features an curved stem, hard chine, semi-v bottom and a lightly rounded transom. Her bow accommodates a hydraulically bow-roller, w/ fairleads forward.
She has a self-bailing, open work deck fwd., with the net reel centrally located a vessel control station to stbd. Aft of the net reel are 3 fiberglass hatches fitted over a slightly raised combing. Under the hatches, the fish hold is divided into 4- slush bag compartments for 4-brailer bags, with additional room for fish aft of the bags. The fish hold is reported to hold 8000 lbs.
Access to the main cabin is from a walkway on the starboard side, through a sliding door. The cabin contains a helm station, with electronics package and electrical distribution panels to port. Aft of which, also on the port side, are a stainless-steel double-sink, small counter, and a Bristol mdl., Dickinson oil stove. Aft of the stove are two stacked bunks, laying athwartship. Just fwd of the bunks are a small table, bench, and shelf.
There is a narrow walkway around the sides and aft of the cabin to access mooring cleats, stove oil tank, and an aluminum “swim platform” for access to the stern drive.
