GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The F/V is of fiberglass construction and purse seiner configuration. The vessel has a shallow draft round chine hull with a square transom. The cabin is located forward of amidships and contains an enclosed head and galley table that converts to a berth with stowage below to starboard upon entry. To port upon entry is the galley area and cabin helm station. Four berths are located in the forepeak.
A flying bridge with helm station is located atop the cabin. The engine compartment is entered via a removable hatch in the cabin sole and through aft cabinetry in the galley and through two Freeman deck hatches just aft of the cabin on the working deck. The engine compartment houses the vessels main propulsion engine, hydraulic pumps, tanks and batteries.
The fishold is located amidships and holds approximately 30,000 lbs of salmon in rsw. The working deck is aft of the fishold with the lazarette housing the vessels fuel tanks, water tank and steering gear aft. The vessel is rigged for salmon seining with a mast with crow’s nest & main boom, two picking booms, deck winch, power block and purse line davit.
