General Description & Arrangement:
The F/V is a typical Alaskan salmon gillnet sternpicker built of fiberglass hull and cabin. Vessel has cabin forward, walk around decks, and open flying bridge with full steering station. Aft of cabin is fish hold and net reel. Stern deck is a step down net well with rear steering station. On top of transom is mounted an aluminum net roller. The main cabin is entered through watertight companionway located on aft starboard side of cabin.
Cabin has wood grain Formica paneling, teak trim, mahogany trim, and bare wood hull liner (fabric hull liner removed after oil stove sooting incident). Aft center in cabin is oil stove; next forward to port is galley and settee with bench seating. Next forward is the marine head. Aft to starboard is day bunk; next forward is full steering helm with electronics and bench. Forepeak contains 4 bunks and lockers. The cabin windows are heavy duty 3/8” tempered glass metal framed with sliding windows on port and starboard. Engine room is located below amidships under cabin sole and contains main engine, filters, manifold, and batteries.
