The vessel has a raked stem deep vee bow, hard chine semi- displacement hull, house forward with flying bridge, work deck with fish hold capacity of 20,000 lb. (est.), a cockpit hayrack, and a square transom aft. There is short berthing for one person in the v- berth, and berthing two persons in the main cabin (short day bunk & short convertible dinette). The pilot station is on the starboard side with a single cushioned seat. A complete set of engine gauges, switches, and controls are located at the pilot station. The galley is just aft of the pilot station and has a large s/s sink, two burner electric ORIGO cook top stove, a full size refrigerator/freezer, and a microwave oven. The AC panel is located in the v-berth (see finding). The main cabin has carpet runners on the floor and cushioned seating throughout. There is with custom wood paneling and cabinets, the overhead is silver insulation. On the port side of the main cabin is the dinette table that seats four. A lockable door at the back of the main cabin leads aft to the fishing deck with six hatches, a spacious hayrack covered cockpit with troll gurdies. A ladder aft on the port side of the main cabin leads up to the flying bridge where there is a second steering station with controls (no stop/start). There is a single seat mounted center on a bench seat for three persons. From the work deck, a narrow walk-around deck leads forward to the fore-deck and anchor windless. There is an custom aluminum boarding ladder amidships starboard side.
The vessel is propelled by a single Detroit 6V92, 450HP 6-cylinder marine diesel engine (fresh water cooled, turbo charged, and dry exhaust), connected to a Twin Disc 509 reduction gear (w/trolling valve), connected to a 2” s/s shaft, and attached to a three bladed bronze propeller (not sighted). Average speed is 8 knots. Fuel consumption is estimated at 3.5 gallons per hour, giving an estimated range of 1200 nautical miles, weather and load conditions permitting.

STABILITY INFORMATION:
There was no stability information available; however, this vessel is well designed and was also well built. It has a very wide beam, and no problems are foreseen in this area provided prudent navigational and seamanship practices are followed.
MOISTURE METER ANALYSIS/PERCUSSION TEST:
Random readings of accessible areas of the hull using a Tramex Skipper Plus Moisture Detector showed some minor elevated readings on the decking aft. The moisture meter test was followed by the percussion/hammer test, no de-lamination was detected. The fiberglass fish hold covers do flex when walked on. Around the vessel, various minor cosmetic spider cracks, chips and gel coat blemishes, all considered normal wear and tear were observed. The engine stringers were also randomly hammer tested and no de-lamination was noted. Some minor rot was observed in the deck supports of the lazarette (see finding), the decking above these supports however, showed no signs of rot or flexing.
ZINCS/CORROSION CONTROL:
Zinc’s were not observed (in-water survey only), however the vessel was reportedly hauled on the grid in October 2016 and zinc’s renewed at that time. Zinc’s should be renewed as routine maintenance each spring. The bottom paint was also renewed in October of 2016, the vessels hull was mostly free and clear of marine growth.

Notes:
Engine hours were listed as 1762 based on a note from the deceased owner that could have indicated the engine was replaced at 3593 hours. After closer inspection the note indicates the date an oil change was performed. Engine gauge reads 7582 hours, will have approximately 7600 hours at time of sale.
Overall Condition: Above Average, very well cared for and maintained. There are a few inexpensive routine maintenance items that were postponed pending the sale of the vessel, but it is otherwise turn-key. Fished 17 consecutive weeks this season with no mechanical problems.
