GENERAL AND ARRANGEMENT:
This is a molded fiberglass hull constructed of apparent good and adequate scantlings by Western BOA Building Corporation at Tacoma, Washington in 1970 and rebuilt in Homer, Alaska in 2018. The vessel has one deck, one mast, curved stem, hard chine with rolling chocks and transom stem, cabin forward, fish hold midships, open work deck aft. Typical gillnet design. The self-bailing non-skid coated aft deck is surrounded by 20″ bulwarks topped with 11″ high aluminum pipe life rails all-around for a total height of 31″ and contains aft a stern mounted Kolstrand hydraulic driven net roller with live fairleads, to port a molded fiberglass console with helm, engine and hydraulic deck machinery controls, at midships is a Bair flush deck watertight aluminum hatch accessing the lazaret which contains the RSW system, next forward is an aluminum net reel with level wind and hydraulic drive on 10.5′ fore/aft aluminum channel slide system, next an insulated fish hold with two section fiberglass covers, to port and starboard are two insulated fish holds, each fit with fiberglass covers.
The non-skid coated foredeck is accessed by walkways port and starboard of the cabin and contains the anchor, rode, hydraulic anchor winch, bow/anchor roller bracket and mooring cleats. The flying bridge is accessed by an inclined ladder from port aft contains forward a full width molded fiberglass console with stowage lockers beneath, the helm, engine controls, VHF radio mic and pedestal mounted seat, next aft is a 7 cubic foot General Electric chest freezer. The cabin is accesses via hinged aluminum door from starboard aft and contains midships aft the RSW control station, to starboard is the galley area with countertop and cupboard spaces, Dickinson Mediterranean three burner propane fired range/oven and single basin stainless steel sink, next forward is the galley messing table with L-sha ped cushioned seating, from port aft is an enclosed head with electric marine toilet, stainless steel sink and shower wand, next forward is a countertop with Magic Chef refrigerator/freezer beneath, next forward is a molded fiberglass console with hem, engine controls, gauges, instruments, various electronics and helm seat. The cabin sole is fit with a hatch providing access to the main engine and machinery spaces. The cabins exterior bulkheads are fit with an aluminum pipe grab rail to port, starboard and forward.
The forepeak is accessed via open companionway midships forward in the main cabin and contains two-tiered full cushioned V-berths. The vessel interior is finished with a carpeted sole, overhead and bulkheads with overlapped and bolted Lexan windows forward and Motion aluminum framed sliders to port and starboard bulkheads.

GENERAL COMMENTS:
Vessel appears sound and well built, overall condition and maintenance very good. Vessel was attended in dry storage with underwater body and fittings in general good condition. Vessel’s general housekeeping: Very good All systems appear serviceable or are other-wise noted within recommendations. No systems were operated at time of attendance due to: Vessel being winterized.
Survey was conducted using voluntary ABYC & NFPA standards, USCG 46 CFR Sub C requirements and other marine safety and manufacturing practices accepted by the industry. No additional independent surveys were conducted at time of attendance. Rigging inspection was conducted by visual inspection from closest proximity possible including main deck & flybridge only.
Vessel owner reports the following recent renewals & upgrades:
2011; new main engine and marine gear installed, new fiberglass fuel tank, aft deck raised and fit with new fish hold configuration and hatch covers, new reel slide system installed
2012; rolling chocks installed,
